Our Rochester Child Custody Lawyer discusses if the courts favor the mother over the father in this article. Then, give our lawyer a call to get started.
Many people ask me as an experienced Rochester Child Custody Lawyer if there is a tendency in New York State to favor the mother in the courts. I can tell you, in my experience as a Rochester Child Custody Lawyer that there really is not a tendency to favor the mother. The courts will typically look at what’s in the best interests of the children. Many times it is in the best interests of the children to be with the mother primarily and many times it’s in the best interests of the children to be with the father primarily.
